We're home from a wonderful retreat in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Brett and the older two climb the stairs around the Victorian landscaping in downtown Eureka.

My husband (scholar of religious healing) liked the inscription on this building.

Our little cabin in the woods.

Brett and the kids, hiking while on the lookout for deer and "moosks".

Tom and Lily in the whirlpool tub. I soaked myself into a giant prune each night we were there. Do you think Brett would mind if I took out the kitchen and put in one of these tubs?

Lily didn't want her picture taken... Little Miss Sourpuss.

Lily ready to ham it up for the camera this time (being held by Daddy helps).

A nickel squished by the diesel engine. She tossed this souvenir out the window of the moving train within minutes of this photo. I pray no one was hurt.

Christ of the Ozarks and four of his followers. Brett thinks Jesus is oddly proportioned. He does seem a bit Oompa-Loopma-like... are his arms too long? Is he too short? Maybe his head is too big...?

Singing along

More trains -- this one on the University of Arkansas campus. Good news for those following Brett's health issues -- we were able to dine AND imbibe at the Hawg Haus Brewing Company.

Tired but happy. They had so much fun!

Thanks for sharing your weekend. We missed you. We had a wet Friday night...not so fun. I'm thinking Eureka was more enjoyable than Leesburg. The cabin and tub look fabulous. Much better than the tent and Scorching hot/freezing cold concrete showers we had. It will be fun to swap some stories.

You're ten miles from my house and I don't even get a call? C'mon! You had to pass through Berryville if you headed to Bret's people's homested in Harrison! Golly!
