It is that season -- the 'Let's Forward Crazy, Unsubstantiated, Racist, Xenophobic Emails'
Season.

To all my wacky family members who do this, please take two seconds to check out your story on snopes.com

You look really dumb and mean when you send these terrible stories around to everyone you know. And doing so in "the name of Christ" just makes it worse, in my opinion.

    Oh thank you Alex!!! I have an elderly parishioner from whom I get on average about 6 emails a day. Some of them saccharine powerpoints of kittens and flowers, and some of them fwded rants... he's a dear man, but!
