even for an Arizona girl

I do not like this. It is supposed to improve by the weekend, but this is terrible.


Today: Sunny. Near record high temperatures. Heat index near 115F. High 103F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

    Welcome to the Midwest. Don't be shocked if next week the temperatures plummet to the 40's. :} I don't remember it ever being this hot for this long. I think we are actually going to loose some trees that were here before our house was. :(

    Will it console you to know that here in vacationland, the alleged lightning (which I never actually saw) sent all the staff at the municipal pool into high alert and kept me from swimming AGAIN? Is it really about my safety, or their liability?

    Have I mentioned that it's all about me?

    But, really. Sorry about that nasty flabby weather you're having.
