It is our last day of vacation. I expect to work and preach every Sunday between now and the end of October... when I fly to St. Louis for a conference for interim pastors of my denomination (PCUSA). My dearest brought me coffee and the NY Times in bed -- the good news -- and then informed me that the A/C was broken -- the seriously BAD news. We live in Phoenix, so it is has been a hot and sad end to our week of vacation.
