Don't be a lurking turkey

Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Our local paper took a poll -- 54% of folks are going to spend as much time as possible with family over Thanksgiving, while 46% are going to spend as little time as possible. Are you in the 54% or the 46%???

    What percentage is assignd to people whose family is too distantly scattered for there to be an option? :-)
    And anyway there are some Thanksgiving issues in my house which lead to my Thanksgiving thoughts

    I am going to be far away this TG - DH and I are going to motorcycle thru the Keys.

    This is in return for him going to my family reunion at Christmas! Compromise is the name of the game!

    Oh that would be wonderful, wouldn't it. Can't promise when but we will sometime, hopefully soon. And the next time you come this way, we have 2 spare rooms with a bath and a huge tree kind of play house and acres to run around on and a 4-wheeler. Is that enticing enough yet?

    I am totaly with Deb. It just depends on which family/ freinds we are talking about!
    56% of me wants to be with most of them and 46% of me says, No way!" to some.

    Eh, what if you WANT to be with some of your family but then there are OTHERS you avoid (like the plague?)

    delurking! and happy thanksgiving! we'll be spending it with neighbors, which in many ways, is spending it with family if you take jesus' definition :) blessings. (btw, i loved your sticky couch description in your mr. clean post above. heh, been there.)
